A GUIDE FOR WOMEN IN HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION
This book is a personal contribution of my life experiences that I have endured between August 10, 2021, to May 14, 2023, while leading a nursing home as a licensed administrator during the COVID-19 pandemic, becoming a caregiver to my mother, dealing with grief, and catapulted into motherhood. I am forever changed and have a greater understanding of the significance related to life and importance to cherish every memory, milestone, and moment. As an independent, professional women in healthcare administration attempting to balance an unexpected metamorphosis in life circumstances was no easy feat. This book will be a time capsule on how I navigated through the various grieving stages of watching my mother experience a medical decline resulting in her passing as her care giver while maintaining the daily responsibilities of my professional career in health care administration while managing a business. I intend that this story will empower, inspire, and uplift other women who are faced with similar challenges to continue to “break through” and be phenomenal personally and professionally.
