I Survived and So Can You!
Bishop Wayne A. Smith Sr. is in his ninth year serving as the overseer and presiding Bishop of Empowered to Win International Ministries in Stone Mountain, GA.
Born and raised in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, Jamaica, he's the oldest of four siblings. He gave his life to the Lord at the age of twelve and received the gift of the Holy Spirit after his water baptism. He migrated to the United States as a teenager and faithfully served the Lord. He served many years in ministry in different capacities, including as a youth leader and evangelist, before being called to start his ministry with his wife.
In early 2007, a prophetic word was spoken over his life: God was calling him to be an international evangelist. Heeding to the will of God, on January 20, 2013, he gave birth. He hosted his first-ever conference, Empowered to Win on international grounds in George Town, Grand Cayman Islands. The Lord opened the doors to the Island of Barbados, and in August of that same year, he hosted his 2nd Conference in Barbados. As a result of his faithfulness, the ministry of Empowered to Win International Ministries, a vision bestowed upon him by the Lord, started on November 22, 2013.
Bishop Wayne's ministry is a testament to his versatility and dedication. He has a deliverance ministry, preaching with an anointing that destroys the enemy's yoke. He holds ordination as a Bishop and has served in various roles, including Pastor, Evangelist, International Speaker, Revivalist, Youth Motivator, and Author. His ministry is marked by an Evangelistic and Prophetic anointing, further empowered by the gift of the Holy Spirit.
He oversees two ministries in his current assignment season: Empowered to Win Ministries, Canada, and Rhema Global Impact Ministries, Cayman Islands. He considers it a profound blessing to serve others. Embracing the responsibilities of a Bishop, which include teaching, governing, and sanctifying, he is an ardent worshipper dedicated to following the will of the Lord with unwavering vigor, strength, and determination. His message to those encountering challenges is one of resilience: "Never give up; God will pave a way even amid seemingly insurmountable obstacles."
Bishop Wayne currently serves alongside his wife, Senior Pastor Paula Davis-Smith. Despite his demanding schedule, Bishop Wayne exemplifies a Godly father, always willing to listen and give Godly instructions and support for church and home. Married for over 28 years to Senior Pastor Paula Davis-Smith, they are blessed with two wonderful children: Wayne A Smith Jr. and Abigail A. Smith.
